“In my 37 years of teacher in-services, I have never experienced a more engaging, interactive, relevant and game-changing presentation. I now have research-supported strategies and techniques to protect my students if an armed intruder entered the school.”
Who we are
With over 22 years of law-enforcement behind him as a deputy sheriff, swat co-commander, and K-9 handler, Ty Peterson has developed a passion for school, workplace and community safety. Ty created Lawdogs armed intruder training to help educate those in need on how to protect themselves in the critical moments of an armed intruder event. Our teaching staff is only law-enforcement or retired law-enforcement. Our police training and certifications cover every element of a violent armed event.
What we teach
We are centered around the nations best practice recommendations of
Run, Hide, Fight.
Lawdogs however has created a learning matrix that goes above and beyond this linear survival plan. We give our students the knowledge, skills, and practice on how to survive in the event of an armed or violent attack. Our training is easy to learn, applicable to real life scenarios, and it is something that our students believe will work in the event of an attack.
